Mixed feelings. There was lack of tension during the fights scenes in the voice. Also I felt like there was no main purpose for the main character. So called 'to Die/kill for friendship' wasnt described as one. Anyway I loved the way this world looked like in my imagination. The story had great potential

Rating: 5I just want to start off by saying that I really enjoy the magic system of this book. When I first started reading and was reading the "glossary" talking about all of the various things in the book I was slightly intimidated. I ended up just skimming it and reading and everything fell into place and made a lot more sense. I wish we got to see more of the various types of magic getting used throughout the book.
I also HATE how the book ended, because I don't want to wait for a sequel. It ended on such a cliffhanger. I can't wait to see what happens next. I want Sirscha to investigate about who she is and where she comes from, and who her parents were.
I enjoyed the adventures of this book. I felt like the world was pretty well developed so far. I enjoyed seeing the various locations throughout the world that we visited.
I liked that there wasn't a romantic relationship in this book. I liked the friendship between Sirscha and Saengo. That being said I wouldn't be disappointed if something were to develop between Sirscha and the Prince. I loved every scene between the two of them
I would highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks it sounds interesting.
