- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book focuses on the infinite love of God and the total sufficiency through the Father the Son and the Holy Spirit. If you have fears and worries this book will probably knock them out of the park.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Wow, some invaluable concepts communicated and the last 3 or 4 chapters blew me out of the water. I love the imagery that God's hand is so much more able to hold onto us through the waves of a storm than us as children are able to keep hold of His hand!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book leads you to understand the heart of Jesus.
It helps to take away thoughts one might have had from the past that we serve an angry God and we should feel guilt and shame.
That is "not" who He is.
Jesus Christ took that guilt and shame and it has been nailed to the cross. We can now live in freedom and rest in the fact that He indeed is Gentle and Lowly.
My favorite part of the book was the Epilogue:
"Let Him love you."
"The Christian life boils down to two steps:
1- Go to Jesus
2- See # 1"
"The place in your life where you feel most defeated, He is there; He loves there, right there, and His heart is for you, not on the other side of it but in that darkness, is gentle and Lowly." - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Beautiful! A book to absorb and then daily celebrate God’s great love.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book brought me to tears. It summarised what took the last 4 years of my life to to learn through life experience and the Bible. Through reading the Bible, I got to see just how different God is from the God I imagined through half-remembered bits of Bible stories from Sunday school, to his true character; his steadfast love and faithfulness, made flesh in Jesus’ gentle and lowly heart. This book reminded me of every one of those past reflection Ive had on his character - the surprises in the Bible and how different God is from who I make him out to be when I forget him. This book is for anyone who feels distant from God, and yearns to see him as their loving Father. And this book is for the those who think they know all there is to know about Him. Everyone should read it, and trust me - you won’t regret it.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This book is a powerful and profound unveiling of Jesus' heart towards us! It is intellectual and takes a scholarly look at Biblical texts to show the evidence for the statements he makes but it is also an emotional and inspirational plea to come to the REAL Jesus, the one Who has nothing but love to offer His own. . .and anyone who comes to Him will not be cast out. Just read it. It is life-changing. I felt the chains of chasing God's smile fall as I listened and realized I already have the smile of God since I'm His child.
