      So boring only reading letters oh and did I mention it’s so boring

      A collection of quotations about love are collected here by Pete the Cat creator James Dean and his wife, Kimberly Dean. The quotes are taken from various sources, ranging from famous artists and authors (Dickens, Van Gogh) to celebrated philosophers and religious texts (Lao Tzu, the Christian Bible). Accompanying each quotation is an illustration of Pete the Cat, together with a reaction quote or rephrasing from that cool feline.Having read quite a few of the original Pete the Cat stories, I picked up Pete the Cat's Groovy Guide to Love mostly out of curiosity (also, I try to read all the books in the picture-book section at work). I wasn't really all that thrilled, but then, I'm probably not the best audience, as I tend to find these thematic quotation books rather uninteresting. Still, for fans of Pete the Cat, this might make a nice Valentine's Day gift.
