      Really enjoyed this book. Beautifully narrated and the authors note at the end was very interesting!

      I absolutely loved this book! The writing was fantastic. I felt as if I was transported to another time and place to be right there with the characters. I loved the authors note at the end explaining what was realistic and what was fictional about the story. Overall a wonderful read.

      Thoroughly engaging. Well read; the characters came to life. A trip I had planned to go to Ireland was postponed because of COVID; now I am glad because I can include Scotland as well and visit some of these magical historical places.

      Great reading. The chosen dialect really made the book come alive as if that was how people had spoken historically. Looking forward to delving deeper into the history this book was based on.
