    The only thing about me that’s a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I’ve got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I’m perfectly fine with that.

    That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He’s hot. He’s funny… And he’s just apologized for being late for our “date” then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he’s sitting down and ordering himself dinner.

    I have no problem telling him I don’t need a pity date…unless of course it’s to my high school reunion next week. Oops where did that last bit come from? And what do I do now that he’s said yes?!

    Because this is no make-over story, and I think Frankie is using me for something. I just have to figure out what…

      I do not recommend this book at all. The heroine is truly terrible.

      It was nice if it wasn't for the constant downgrading and insecurities of Lucy herself. I felt that she was too insecure about her body and mentioning it almost every single time. Would have love to read more body positivity.

      As a very plus sized women who went through a lot of the same things Lucy did. (Extremely bullied and degraded) I match with her and this story. My husband was popular, fit, muscles when we met. He hadn’t dated a plus sized women before, I was so paranoid that he would find someone better. I bad mouthed myself so much. But he stopped letting me, and helped me gain confidence. We now have two kids, been together 11.5 years and been married for 4.5 years!!!!

      When I say I’m plus sized btw I’m talking over 300 lbs and over size 20

      Thank you for the amazing and very relatable book!!!
