About this audiobook

For seasons, I have waited for her-my perfect mate.

In a tribe full of happy couples, I am alone. But I am not content to remain this way. There are no eligible unmated females left, so I will do whatever it takes to bring females back to our tribe . . . even if it means doing something wrong. Even if it means I must purchase my mate on the intergalactic black market. I will do anything to possess her, to claim her as my own.

But will my ruthless move turn my female against me before we ever meet? Can she ever forgive a male that bought her freedom?

Contains mature themes.

    So Bek finally got a mate . . .

And learned patience! Cause he REALLY was the most impatient brute there. Glad his terrible idea worked out for him.

By far my favorite book of the series. Ellie was a great mixture of a spitfire and yet terrified. Her fear was great and Beck of all of them had great patience and really felt protective before their resonance even started.

The style is a little different in the way the story flowed but I enjoyed reading it very much.

A lot of missed opportunity for this book to be so much better, but i think the author intends for these to be really basic and nearly identical.

The main male character buys the freedom of 5 slaves in hope they will resonate with the unmated males, but everyone punishes him for freeing slaves the whole book, because he committed the great sin of buying slaves even when he has no concept of slavery and didn't choose HOW or WHEre to get the women. He literally doesn't know what slavery is. That was frustrating to have hammered over and over throughout the entire book, when they could have better displayed how everyone had a different perspective which comes with different expectations.

Again the characters get isolated and the dumb, I'll-do-anything-for-you male quickly wins the heart of the female through addressing her Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs in a snowy wilderness where she cannot survive on her own. And in the end everyone wants the same things out of life: kids

Not the worst. Not the best.

Im not thrilled by the epilogue because again they have a guy kidnapping a female to hope if he waits long enough and feeds her then she will come around, ugh! This happens in every single book, and it only didn't work once.

It shouldn't work most of the time! There should be more getting to see how great he is among his people and falling in love with him as an individual, but all of these guys are basically the same.

A lot of big lessons learnt in this one and they were all handled very well. Loved it.
