- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Paul’s first book, Face The Music, was well done yet this book falls very short.
For a long time this book was hinted at as Paul sharing his lessons, beliefs, principles to live by and much more. It is nothing of the sort.
Towards the end he talks about his workouts and how he focuses on reps and not weights. That’s it folks, no discussion of what type of movements or how many reps just a surface overview.
He briefly speaks of things like having a good outlook or attitude but then he slams Peter. Hmm...the two don’t seem to go together.
Don’t get me wrong I understand the history of Peter but we don’t need to hear it again from Paul.
I’m super disappointed in the book.
While the narrator Sean Pratt is one of the best in the business and did a good job I was very unhappy to not hear Paul doing his own narration. Half of the fun of his previous book was that he narrated it himself.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I love to read rock and roll bio's. I have read all the Kiss books. I liked this in a different way. Some of Paul's insights were very cool and will make me take a second look at things. 8 out of 10, good stuff!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A well-written YA story. The teen characters have authentic voices and reactions, and the narrator's comments are right on the money.
