Descrizione

The fourth and final part of the Murderbot Diaries series that began with All Systems Red.

Murderbot wasn't programmed to care. So its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?

Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah — its former owner (protector? friend?) — submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.

But who's going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue? And what will become of it when it's caught?

nice wrap up to the series!! hope there's more eventually though

This entire series was amazing and my only complaint is that it was so short. I ended up rationing out the last two of the series so that I didn't go through them right away. I loved the snarky humor and action. I'm not really against some blood or death in action scenes but the way the action scenes played out in these stories with usually the least amount of death really just fit with the story and I was completely drawn in.

My all time favourite audiobook series, bar none. Loved it so much that I'm going to listen to them all over again.

Good stories throughout the series, believable characters, great humour and classy writing.

The story of an ornery robot who continues to wonder what does it mean to be human comes to an end. I enjoyed this fictional think piece. It continuously provides new scenarios for Murderbot to question what his fellow humans are doing and why.

Very good ending to the collection. Some great fight scenes and true the punchy adventure we are used to. If youve read the last 3 you will certainly want to wrap it up with book 4.

Really sad that the series is over. Just loved Murderbot in this whole series. The way it was when it was wasn’t 100% was just so funny. What Murderbot was saying, was so on point and priceless.

It’s Murderbot’s personality that just sucks you in from the very first story, to very end page. You couldn’t help but fall in love with it. You wanted to see how Murderbot survived, how it lived. The world building was so rich, you wanted to see more of it.

Looking forward to reading more by the Author.

A very good audiobook. Some of the humor reminded me of Toy Wars - Andrzej Ziemiański (a great novel about peculiar journey of an interesting background women, sprinkled with lots and lots of humor). Especially nearing the end, I really enjoyed some humorous comments. Definitely a worth to read or play while killing some time in travel or just to relax.

I completely adore this whole series. I love getting back to Dr. Mensah in this one. I love Murderbot as a character and adore Dr. Mensah. I'm loving this reread of the series so much!

Really love this one. And wish she would write a longer instalment in the series.

An easy read, character(s) that you care about, dry humour, wit, and am engaging albeit weak story line.
    Loved it, smiled a lot...

Engaging start to finish. The four parts make a nice story arc. But the real fun is getting to know and identify with our introverted sec-bot, who always rises to the occasion. And the fight scenes are convincingly done.

I do feel like it needs to even more emphasised how well of a job the narrator has done. Like half of the reason I enjoyed this audiobook so much was his narration.

He truly breathes life into the character, his voice truly matches a robot but also the character it has.
