Descrizione

Funny things can happen when you least expect it. Sam Flock is a good cop, even if she does drink too much. Off-duty, she's been known to cause her own trouble, but when she drives into the side of an ambulance after seeing a ghost, her career in law enforcement meets its end. Determined to find answers, she forms a paranormal investigation agency with her capable but sometimes annoying friend, Shells. Though they are perhaps the world's worst paranormal investigators, they find something beyond their wildest imaginings.

What readers are saying:

"It's snort laugh funny."

"Like Beavis and Butthead...only hotter and sassier."

"Lure is like a cross between Saving Grace, Ghost Hunters and Jersey Shore."

"Fans of the movies The Hangover and Brides Maids are sure to enjoy this irreverent comedy."

I might have liked it if it ha been funny as it promised on the book cover. And if it hadn’t been obvious this was a a male author (at least I hope it’s not female one) who’s has some rather tired and sexist views on how women think and behave. I gave up after a couple of chapters. But really the cover and the title together should have alerted me. My bad.

Imagine Bill and Ted dropped in Thelma and Louise's bodies... The Sci fi part was a small underlying story. It was interesting.

I had no expectations when I started this book. It was a pleasant surprise and extremely funny. Looking forward to the next in the series ?

Book is not complete. Characters are forgettable and one dimensional.

A little confusing to follow the dialogue or what was happening in the story at times it was funny but very disrespectful towards woman because it had the women using sex and their bodies to distract the bad guys or just because they wanted to be funny gross and so degrading to women

The characters are written for their shock value, with their language and actions seeming to play a starring role, rather than their personalities. I might have been able to look past this if the plot didn’t seem so disjointed.

It’s almost like the writer wanted to wrote a ghost story, but got bored with that so he switched to a government conspiracy story midway through, only to THEN switch to an alien story towards the end.

I know the title calls it a “Paranormal Adventure” but I didn’t expect it to try to cover ALL the paranormal bases in 17 chapters.

This was a weird book. Not at all paranormal really. Just two girls on a roadtrip that keep doing other things than what they were hired to do. And being sexy while doing it. And the person reading the book gave them less than attractive voices. Now finished, I'm nothing less than confused.

Couldn't bear to finish it. Boring, no character development and the narration blows.

My father and I believe that you should have a different narrator they can bury 8 voices much better this narrow raider gave you the feeling that it was just a whole bunch of leg of callant ations in the descriptions of the rose that which she was supposed to be voicing Like all lesbian sound like Chuck drivers in roughing graph I don't not I believe you would have been able to get A45 stars but the indications of the tones in stuff that the narrator was using I believe will cause friction with some readers you have a blessed day a majour blocked recline Max and your baseline in the back lot the story altogether made sense and was very much enjoy it
