About this audiobook

My billionaire boss needs me to do something absolutely crazy.
He wants me to pretend we’re engaged.
But I can’t say no, or he’ll lose his daughter and I’ll lose my job.
Fine then. I’ll wear his stupid ring. I’ll be the perfect fiancée for one month.
There’s only one problem. I don’t want to stop pretending.

Housekeeper for a stunningly handsome, male-model billionaire? Yep, that’s my job and it’s as dreamy as it sounds. I get to live in his ridiculously huge mansion, and all I have to do is take care of his mom and daughter, who are practically family. To top it off, the notoriously bossy Mr. King has been away for business since I started.

But he came home today.

Liam King looks like he stepped out of a GQ magazine, and the way he undresses me with his eyes should be illegal. He ignites my body. Every part of it. But it doesn’t matter how tempting he is. I can’t have him.

I can’t risk my job. Even if a guy like him was actually interested in a twenty-two year old virgin like me, I can’t give in. I’ve been in enough relationships to know how they all end: disaster. And if I lose my job, I lose the closest thing to a family I’ve had since my mother passed.

But a fake engagement doesn’t really count as a relationship… Right?

**This is a full-length, standalone fake marriage romance. No cheating or cliffhangers, and as always, Happily Ever After guaranteed.

The narrator sounds too robotic. Couldn't finish it. But also these characters are ridiculous.

Unbearably awful and nothing makes sense. The characters are shallow and undeveloped, maybe something improved after the third chapter, but I couldn't bring myself to listen any further (even though I listened while I was cleaning the house). Btw, she’s 24, he has a 5-year-old daughter, and his mom is 92. She gave birth to him in her mid-50s or wtf is happening here?
    Female narrator 1,5.

Ok. Not sure if it was supposed to be, but this book was hilarious. Great character build up from the beginning. Aubrey is a home health worker for Roxanne, Liam's mother and she also kind of takes care of his daughter as well, who's in the fifth grade. Liam is constantly out of town in business. There are TWO meet cutes, if you can believe it and it's hilarious. Having not personally hired her, Liam has not seen her yet so imagine his surprise, when she shows up in his house. There's instant attraction with the two. Side note… Liam's daughter and mother are the stars of this book. They were hilarious. I could not stop laughing at the things they said and did. In this book there are two antagonists and what do you know they are both exes. Julianne, Liam's ex-wife who had not made an effort to spend time with it see their daughter and Jake, Aubrey's, who feels that her virginity is his God given right and will stop at nothing to get it. Both show up up out of the blue, Jake wanting Aubrey back and Julianne wanting money. I love how the author had both leading characters come together and protect the little girl. And the shenanigans Julianne and Jake get up to to get their way… I was just in awe thinking, what other weird things are sitting in your mind. Really great book.

So the story has a good story line but it’s hard to believe that any educated man would let things develop without consulting a lawyer to break the shit show that was in the work mid story. It was very frustrating to listen to and I was almost screaming at him to do so or to make a phone call to verify the legitimacy of that Linda person whom by the way, deserves a good butt kicking.

Then there’s the ex-boyfriend who let a flashing trail of evidence and they don’t go to the police and keeps terrorizing this young woman and Liam just keeps digging a whole by reacting to him.

Then the story was really predictable and frustrating. I just don’t understand why people don’t talk!!! Share your fears for peet’s sake.

One last thing, the female narrator = awful.

The narrator’s are fine , but my major issue is story , why billionaires who flip companies don’t have security guards at his house or with him, and why female H never report two attack/ attempted rape to police , why police don’t take the knife for fingerprints instead of just acting stupid . Lastly why the billionaire so brain dead not to hire private investigator on his ex as soon she threatened him

    Absolutely ridiculous.
Two stars though because as ridiculous as it is, it’s cute. I’m just not a big fan of the I’m a woman and can’t do anything, I was nothing before I met the man, thing

Two words to describe this book, God awful. I can't believe I actually listened to the whole book.
