About this audiobook

Good things come in extra-tall, smoking hot stilettos.

Things like Jocelyn Jones.

Jocelyn "Ice Queen" Jones is the hottest agent in town, and I'm determined to make her mine. My agent, that is. She's the best at what she does, which is why I'm intent on keeping our relationship strictly platonic, even if the sexual tension between us is thick enough to slice with a skate. After all, I already have a woman in my life. My daughter, Charli, and we're not sure if there's room for someone else.

Until Jocelyn Jones breaks all the rules. She lets her icy exterior begin to melt, treating me to a view no man has ever seen before. Suddenly, I'm no longer certain if I want to be on her roster, or in her bed-for good.

Tangling business with pleasure has never been on the agenda. Then again, neither has falling in love.

They say it's bad business to sleep with the boss.

But they haven't met Jocelyn Jones.

Contains mature themes.

Male narrator voice is awful. Couldn’t finish because of it.

Not going well. Hero is a dad, putting daughter in categories
-Like sports as a girl? You Tomboy.
    - But likes yellow and purple? How confusing, maybe not.
-Hate Barbies bc you like sports. It's a dichotomy. There is no middle ground.

    Fuck. Off.

6 year olds get to be 6 and figure out what they like. It's best we refrain from labeling. I know, it's weird to get up in arms about this in a romance novel. Except it's not, friends.

sports and colors are for everyone. So are dolls. (Mlp, even better)
So is nail polish. And science, math, art and theater.

Let's teach our kids "you do you," please.

*Gets off soapbox to DNF book*

I was bored anyway. So bored I just decided getting pissed would be more fun.

I got to 25% but it was just a bit choppy and juvenile. A bit too insta and had neither MN nor ice (a mention of a MN Stars sweatshirt. And he needs a hockey agent)

The hero seemed a great dad but also seemed like he was kind of a douche. And I don't like the transitions between him being with his daughter and him thinking of Jocelyn at all. Not a bit. Lots of tell here and not much show.
