This book made me happy and sad, calm and angry. It made me feel for characters and people I don’t even know and I’m pretty sure aren’t real. Yes, the book was explicit but whatever. You look past that you see the book in it’s true beauty

This book was written in a way that it could be easily understood by a younger audience, but in such a beautiful way.
It was very successful in sending a powerful message to its readers. It gave more meaning to the saying,
“No one is alone”. I have never fully understand that saying on a personal level until I read “Perks of Being a Wallflower” and I am very thankful that I can now appreciate it even more.

omg it was so great?? what can i say about it except the fact it was great??? it describes adolescence so well??? i just loved it, and probably will re read it, just for my heart to be broken again and again

Rating: 5I bought this book in 2011, i was 16 and the movie hadn't come out yet. I read it 5 times since then. I listened to the audiobook now at 25 and didn't know there was an"Afterward" at the end. It absolutely broke me.
