      Was there so much sex or unrealistic sex that you rolled your eyes and/or skipped forward? No

      The back story... The H and h wipe out in heavy snow and end up bunkering down in his jeep. The get physical and he takes off. The H's brother is dying at the age of 39 and he is afraid that it will happen to himself.

      The Romance... I didn't see it.

      The drama explosion... The H melts down and treats the h terribly for 70% of the story.

      Did it feel real or contrived? Horrible
      Was it OTT? Yes
      Separation involved? No
      Was it resolved properly or rushed? Ok

      Final Notes... The author made the H a complete self-involved jerk. He has everything going for him yet he allows family issues to keep from truly living. I won't give any spoilers but most people in his situation would have done what the H asked the h's best friend to do before giving up on life.

      Sarina Bowen is one of my favorite authors. She writes steamy romance with complex characters, often facing difficult issues. Her approach is realistic, without being heavy-handed. This often results in stories that aren’t overly angsty, in spite of the difficulties her characters face. It’s a perfect tug at my heartstrings with a HEA! . In Coming in from the Cold, Bowen didn’t disappoint. Strong narration makes this a title I highly recommend!
