I've been thinking about what I want to say in my review for this book all day and honestly? I stayed up until 5 am this morning finishing this book and I still don't know how to put all my feelings into words. So, I'm just going to say this:I relate to Frances and Aled a lot and I have so much love for them and so many feelings about them. When it comes to Aled, I can't relate to his relationship with his mother but I can DEFINITELY relate to his experience with being at university and some of the feelings he had for it, but mostly his reaction to being there. That really cut me deep. When it comes to Frances, my experience with high school and preparing for college was slightly less intense than hers but I still found myself relating to her experience a lot. It also cut me deep.So, simply saying I enjoyed this doesn't really express my feelings adequately and I'm not sure if I even have the capacity to explain how much this book means to me. What I can say is that this book and it's message is incredibly important to me. Not only that, but I also think high school students about to go off to college and even people currently in college will relate to this book and find at least a small part of themselves in it.This is a beautiful story about friendship and finding your own path in life even if it differs from the path you were told you needed to take to succeed. It's about the academic pressure teenagers are put through to get into a good college in order to be as successful as possible, even if that means sacrificing their passions and everything that is important to them. It's about diverging from the path paved for you and doing something that truly makes you happy. Not only do I find the themes of this book incredibly important, but Aled and Frances' purely platonic friendship and the intense love they have for each other makes this possibly my favorite friendship I have ever read. Ever.I'm not even sure what else to say other than I thoroughly enjoyed this and I highly recommend it, especially if you're about to go off to college or are currently in college.

I had a hard time getting into it and I actually do not feel as shaken as everybody else seems to be by this story. I think it’s because I read it too late. Or maybe it just wasn’t for me.
I really enjoyed it because I saw myself in the characters and I actually cared about them and the plot. But in the end this book just showed me something I could’t get which had me a bit depressed by the end. So overall enjoyed the plot but the deeper meaning of this book just wasn’t suited to me.

Honest and real, beautiful book about friendship. 10/10 recommend. The reader speaks beautifully also.
Rating: 5★★ // interesting when it deals with the relationship between the characters, but not so much as individuals. often felt preachy and a 101 on the current social media climate of this generation and sexuality. any trace of history (e.g. experience of abuse) of each character felt like a plot device more than a part of their personhood. maybe it’s just not my cup of tea or i’m simply not its target audience.

Very good young adult fiction that encompasses smart and healthy sexuality, gender and race norms - and the story questions how our society defines intelligence. I was excited to find out what happened to the main characters until the last minute! Great narrator too!

This. This was so well written. I’m not very into books that feature characters going through certain stuff *spoilers* (looking at you, Fangirl) but Aled had my heart the moment he was introduced. Frances is soooo relatable and I loved the romance on the side (I’d read a book just about Aled before he met Frances). The educational conversation between Aled and Daniel at the end warmed my heart. Everyone should read this.

This book just feels like home. Everything just happens so accurately! With REAL teenage representation. Don't even start me on how much a adore these charecters.

I can't believe I put off reading Radio Silence for so long! I instantly fell in love with the book! No surprise there since Heartstopper is amazing.
As a fangirl who is interested in a lot of things aside from books, it was fun to read something so relatable as Radio Silence dabbles on the podcast fandom (and just how RABID, OBSESSIVE, and TOXIC it could be), finding yourself in a world where the pressure to be successful is pervasive, and embracing who you are and what you love.
Some of the things that I absolutely loved about this book is the realistic portrayal of a nuanced and dynamic friendship as well as the diversity represented in the book! (rep: biracial, bisexual, gay, asexual, demisexual). Another favorite is the heartwarming and very open relationship between the main character and her mom! I thought that this is EXACTLY HOW I want to bring up my future children: a mom who truly cares without suffocating my child and giving them to freedom to choose and decide for themselves without pressuring them to excel at everything.
It was also refreshing to see that Radio Silence, the Youtube podcast show about a student detective in a sci-fi monster-infested university, was heavily inspired by Welcome to Night Vale. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Welcome to Night Vale for its imaginative and weirdly amazing story. It feels like Radio Silence was written for the fangirl in me. I definitely recommend this book!

Me gusto mucho la relacion que tienen loa personajes principales, es una relacion real y no recurre al romance para hacer la historia. Me gusto la historia de universe city y como se relacionaba con lo que pasaba en la historia

I had heard so much hype about this book that I was convinced I already read it and loved it at times. Though upon actually reading it, that wasn't the case - catch me crying in the club!! The first half was just sooo dry, and I did adore the second half, but I was expecting more from it overall. This book is basically the holy grail for Gen Z readers (me one myself), so I'm just really disappointed. But, I'm excited for Alice Oseman's new release, it follows an aro-ace MC and is ownvoices as well!!

Rating: 5It was amazing listening to it. Yes, I listened, Radio. I wanted to read this book. However, I decided to go for the audiobook. And I don't regret. I am in love with the narrator. She does is so beautifully. Also, the story and the characters are so relatable at so many levels. I am just happy that I stumbled upon it.
