About this audiobook
While most of his friends have moved on to "real" careers, Jon Buchanan is content skating through life as a part-time waiter and gay porn star. Firmly single thanks to a previous relationship disaster, he focuses his spare time on Henry, a dear friend dying of cancer. And with Henry's happiness paramount, Jon is on a mission to help Henry meet his recently discovered grandson.
Isaac Gregory hasn't set foot outside for the past year. He has everything he needs delivered, and his remaining family knows better than to visit. When a complete stranger shows up claiming to be his grandfather-with a distractingly handsome younger man in tow-his carefully structured routines are shaken.
Despite his instant attraction, Jon senses that Isaac is too fragile for a relationship. Yet tentative friendship grows into genuine companionship. And when Henry's health begins to fail, they realize that fate brought them together for a reason.Contains mature themes.

Author
A.M. Arthur
A.M. Arthur was born and raised in the same kind of small town she likes to write about, a stone's throw from both the ocean and generational farmland. She's been writing stories in her head since she was a child and scribbling them down nearly as long. When not exorcising the voices in her head, A.M. can be found in the kitchen experimenting with food and trying not to poison herself or others.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Perspectives series is quickly becoming one of my favorites. There so many feelings and wonderful tender moments that just have my heart glowing with warmth.
Jon aka Boomer, is a porn star who is dealing with the inevitable death of his best friend and father figure, Henry. Henry has terminal cancer and is facing the end of his life, but during these last months he finds out he has a long lost grandson, Isaac. Isaac, is a traumatized young man who’s shut himself away from the world. Watching the relationship between Isaac and Jon developed, and how their love blossomed into something incredible was wonderful. This book deals with a lot of difficult subjects, but A.M. Arthur does it in well-done and respectful manner.
Guy Locke was a great narrator, and I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Some of the voices were not how I imagined the characters would sound like, but I soon got used to them, and it was easy for me to sink into the story.
Overall Rating is an easy 5 stars. I felt all the emotions and love A.M. Arthur’s writing and her characters. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5The audio gets clipped at the end of each chapter.
