About this audiobook

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Molly McAdams’ powerful new novel offers one of the most memorable love triangles in fiction since Twilight—perfect for fans of New Adult fiction like Jamie McGuire, Abbi Glines, and Tamarra Webber.

Futures are uncertain, unpredictable—like ink spilled across the purest surface. Nearly imperceptible ripples move and flow until a unique stain is formed. The ink is permanently imbedded in the surface…

During one wild night in college, Jentry Michaels is a tidal wave of ink that brands Aurora Wilde’s soul. An unparalleled stain she can’t forget despite the many months that have passed—and despite the distraction she’d hoped she would find in her new relationship with Declan, the charmer who captured her heart soon after. Jentry has irrevocably touched her soul, and he is intertwined in her present and future in ways she never fathomed. Now Aurora is faced with keeping that night hidden though it feels as if the ink has indelibly etched their story across her skin.

When Declan is confronted with his own personal demons, Aurora must decide if she will continue to hold tight to their relationship and a safe, reliable future with him, or if she will turn to Jentry—the guy she can’t forget no matter how hard she tries.…

Another amazing McAdams novel! Her characters once again steal your heart completely and take you on an emotional roller coaster ride! From start to finish, ISY had me captivated and twisted up inside. These characters and their story deserve so much more than a measly 5 star rating. Bravo, once again, Molly. Bravo!!!

The blurb and cover alluded to a more intriguing love Triangle than the actual story ended up delivering. It was okay but I have read a very similar new adult plot so I knew the ending at the very beginning. It started off with a wild night between two strangers and then had them officially meet after a year. Unfortunately, Aurora "Rorie" Wilde was living with Declan, the brother of her one night stand, Jentry Michaels. Except Rorie had already met Jentry, but they had been Aurora and Jay that scandalous night over a year ago.I feel like the author had already positioned and continually maneuvered the reader towards the brother Aurora ended up with. First of all, it's hard to root for a man who lets his mother treat his girlfriend the way Declan's mom treated Aurora. The fact that the whole family, father and sisters, stood quietly by observing such vile behavior already poisoned them in my mind. It was telling that Jentry was the one who addressed the elephant in the room. Also, there wasn't enough interaction between Aurora and with Declan to really show the chemistry and intensity to rival the passion she shared with Jentry. I am convinced that Declan knew from that first day he introduced Aurora to Jentry that there was something going on. It just became a matter of time and what would be the casualties when Jentry and Aurora claimed each other. This story would be stronger if the author developed the characters much more. The The writing was okay but I didn't like the time jump, 13 months ago, present time, That night, 2 months ago etc. The flow of the story felt disrupted with the back and forth with the characters. I was expecting more of a love triangle than it ended up being. The last scene with Declan's mother and Aurora was such BS. No way would that be sufficient. I don't see why Aurora never stood up for herself then or at the end. I would have respected Aurora if she told her to get out. As a grown up and a mother, Declan's mother was the worst. I wish Aurora had family in this story, someone other than Taylor who had her back.Overall, this book was underwhelming. The characters and overall story was too undercooked to truly move me.

4 "Timing is Everything" Stars! If you've ever wondered what difference a day or a week could make in the life changing events of your life, I See You is sure to tug at your heartstrings. Involving impossible choices and a heart torn in two, I See You involves the quandary of choosing between sure happiness and insurmountable passion and obsession. When it appears that one has been lost forever, the choice to give the other a chance, leads to the perfect storm of a love triangle.Aurora decides to let loose in one uninhibited night before college ends resulting in a night with a man that she will never forget and which has forever stained her soul. Not more than a day later she knows she must find him again, but not even knowing his true name, makes it nearly impossible. When the thoughts and undying need lingers she returns to the site of the party a week later, but only finds a cold trail. As if fate had other plans for her, however, a week later searching for him she does meet another man, Declan, who slowly begins to show her what a life of true happiness is like. About a year after building a good life with Declan, Jentry, the man from "that night" resurfaces, and how he is tied to their past, present, and future will slay you with how wicked life can be. Is any HEA possible under the circumstances? Assuming one is, who will Aurora choose?Lovers of love triangles will enjoy the angst filled choices that must be made in I See You. Perfect for the new adult romance reader, I See You is sure to make you question just what you would do under the circumstances. My only observation with this book is that it is mostly focused on what happens after "that night" which requires some general belief in love at first sight or at the very least falling in love with someone from a night of second to none passion. You must accept this premise for the book to work, but if you do, the agony filled consequences that follow will surely leave you with goose bumps as you patiently await the unfurling of this love triangle saga.Source: Review copy provided for review purposes.

This book was a quick and easy read. The characters are well constructed and the story is enjoyable so if you are looking for a nice beach read this is a good choice. There were several wrinkles in the book that made it interesting and kept things going. The book jumped around in time, which could be confusing and I felt detracted a bit from the story. While the book is supposed to be a love triangle, the characters choice was very clear so there wasn't much suspense or guessing that happened to add suspense. However still a fun read!

I've read a few Molly McAdams books previously and I can honestly say that I enjoy everything she writes, but this one was not a favorite. This is mostly due to the fact that this book was just a little too angsty and tri-way for me. I guess I'm just burnt out on the whole love triangle angle. Not to mention the fairly quick 180 that some of the characters took at times were rather overly unbelievable. Overall, this book was good, but I can't picture myself wanting to reread it and I have to admit that I'm not all that desperate for a next installment, although I hope Declan gets his happily ever after without winding up in another triangle situation... I think he's had enough of those for a lifetime.

I received this book in exchange for a honest review. I enjoyed the storyline, even though at first I struggled with the back and forth between a month ago, a year ago, present day, etc. Once I got the cadence down, it was great at building the characters and winning your loyalties a to who in the triangle should be together. Loved the evil mother in law part. I have already handed off the book to another reader to enjoy.
