About this audiobook

Book 1 in the sexy Manwhore series from the New York Times bestselling author of REAL. Is it possible to expose Chicago’s hottest player—without getting played?

This is the story I’ve been waiting for all my life, and its name is Malcolm Kyle Preston Logan Saint. Don’t be fooled by that last name though. There’s nothing holy about the man except the hell his parties raise. The hottest entrepreneur Chicago has ever known, he’s a man’s man with too much money to spend and too many women vying for his attention.

Mysterious. Privileged. Legendary. His entire life he’s been surrounded by the press as they dig for tidbits to see if his fairytale life is for real or all mirrors and social media lies. Since he hit the scene, his secrets have been his and his alone to keep. And that’s where I come in.

Assigned to investigate Saint and reveal his elusive personality, I’m determined to make him the story that will change my career.

But I never imagined he would change my life. Bit by bit, I start to wonder if I’m the one discovering him...or if he’s uncovering me.

What happens when the man they call Saint, makes you want to sin?

A nadie book. No deepness in the characters, irrational plot. Just don't.

The book started off slow and I thought I would stop listening after the first chapter, but I got hooked shortly after. The action is nice, a classic fall-in-love with the rich powerful man story, but still captivating. I didn't love the narrator's voice that much, though.

Rachel and Malcolm have a very predictable love story with angst and tension that Katy writes well. These two have instant attraction from the start. Unfortunately, the build-up to their sex scene was a bit lacklustre. The tension was there but the finale was meh.

Malcolm is the typical alpha male and has a big sweet and caring side to him which didn't live up to the title of the book. I was surprised about his character but I really did love him. Rachel had her moments where I couldn't deal with her constant blushing and at times she was too stubborn for her own good but they were good, solid characters. This book was just their starting point in getting to understand each other, before and after, the deceit.

I could have done without the cliffhanger, especially since there was so much room in the book to tie up the ending. In the early stages of the book, there wasn't move movement, it seemed to be pretty stagnant until after the halfway mark. I did like the premises of the story and how they started their romance.

Narrator has some weird moments with the male voice, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

Loved the reader! Story was ok, repetitious at times, hero sweet, heroine needed some growing up to do. Great for a light reading night!

I really liked that she accepted the fact that she was the one that was wrong and never blamed him for any of the pain she felt..

Could not make it through this book. Female lead was so repetitive and whiny. Zero insight into the male lead with zero perspective.
