A who done it with many possibilities and a bit of romance on the side.

It started out ok but the constant change of narrators caused me to lose interest.

It’s always difficult to deal with archaic language, and this certainly had lots of it. The story itself was engaging, but the inconsistency of the various readers was very distracting. I would hope that the “
proof listeners” would iron out some of the problems. I also question the heavily accented readers. I applaud their knowledge of more than their native tongue, but while native English speakers have problems finding the correct inflections for antique colloquialisms, I feel that they are resorting to merely reading the words. I’m looking forward to experiencing a solo read soon.
