About this audiobook
Connie Shelton
Connie Shelton has been writing for more than twenty years and has taught writing (both fiction and nonfiction) since 2001. She is the author of the Charlie Parker mystery series and has been a contributor to several anthologies, including Chicken Soup For the Writer's Soul. "My husband and I love to do adventures. He flew helicopters for 35 years, a career that I've borrowed from in my Charlie Parker mysteries. We have traveled quite a lot and now divide our time between the American Southwest and a place on the Sea of Cortez. For relaxation I love art -- painting and drawing can completely consume me. I also really enjoy cooking, with whatever ingredients I find in whatever country we are in at the moment. We walk every day and love watching and photographing wildlife."

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Still gripping the fact that they seem to skip something and head in another direction. Waffling too much about things other than the expectation of the story..I do think the writer is on to something good re crime novels etc ! However’ detest gory stories and thankfully these are not, they are actually nice and easy reads...but we do not want heaps of useless descriptive that are boring..too many asides..gets off the track and jumps about too, much, needs smoother flow, would be better if more details went into the investigation instead of whatever they are trying to spout about a love life whether it’s actually factual or wishful thinking..If I wanted a Romance book I would get one..looking forward to improvements on next one..perhaps the author could read some of JA Jance and similar authors re some idea of how a book can move around yet still flow. This is just my opinion, others may see it differently.
