I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It kept me intrigued the whole time.

I bought this book because it was advertised as being part of the "Clare McCall" series, which it was not and I was disappointed in that. The story is about a 30-something doctor's wife who has it all - big house, rich, famous surgeon husband, cars, etc. She works as an accident reconstructionist which comes into play a few times in the novel. Unhappy in her "perfect" marriage, she fantasizes what it would be like to no longer be the perfect wife and daughter (her father is a minister). She acts on her fantasy which definitely does not turn out as she planned. There are some twists and turns in the book which held my interest, but I found some of the actions unbelievable in the characters' responses to certain huge events in the storyline. The Christian element is rather weak in my opinion. There are enough interesting characters that kept me reading to the finish but I only gave it 3 stars. Harry Kraus can write much better than this, as seen in the "Clare McCall" series.
