About this audiobook
Vivienne is almost content with her life in the Cirque des Immortels. She has moved up from selling cotton candy to telling fortunes, she has a gorgeous, magical boyfriend, Kingston...and no one has been murdered since the clash between the otherworldly Courts. Her life under the faerie big top would be perfect, in fact, if not for the nightmares and visions that compel her to seek and confront her half-remembered past. But for Viv, not knowing her past may well be a blessing. There's a reason she ran away. But can she truly escape herself?
The second act of the fantastically evocative Cirque des Immortels series, The Immortal Circus: Act Two draws readers further into a world that’s at once wonderful, seductive...and deadly.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5A good, relatively light read. Sort of "Sookie Stackhouse meets The Night Circus".
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The Immortal CircusCirque des Immortels, Book 1By: A. R. KahlerNarrated by: Amy McFaddenThis is a "WOW" book, supernatural beings are the players in the circus and Mab is the owner. Mab, yes the fae queen. The main character is the has no idea what her past is, or why she is there. There are murders, attacks from the Summer Court, and lots of small mysteries. Great characters, twisted plot, and more. This is so good. The narrator is marvelous! The emotions and voices are wonderful! Creepy as heck! Love this book! Used my kindle prime!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Wow! I loved the story, the modern characters, the complexity, and intrigue! I can't wait for the next one!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Almost couldn't put it down
Great book with interesting premise. Read it in two days. I'm going to start the second book as soon as I post this review. - Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5A book about magic and faeries and witches and the circus? My family couldn't believe that I was reading it. Yet I did, and I found it to be a quick easy read. The writing was unpolished but there were no glaring problems that pulled me out of the story. This is a story with adult material, though -- "older" young-adult-appropriate at best. I read this as an entire work in one book, not in its Kindle Serial format. I am looking forward to the rest in the series. (Fortunately, they have been published already and I don't have to wait for them.)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The circus, murder, and faeries. What's not to like? This was a quick fun page turner with great potential for an interesting series. Nothing too deep for sure, but for anyone who likes a good faerie war story and elements of a magical circus this is a good one.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I read this in installments as it was a Kindle Serial & I enjoyed the format & the story. Every two weeks, I was eager to get the new part & read it on the same day. I thought the story was well told & while I found that I was yelling at the very end because I wanted more answers, I take that to mean that I was well hooked & still want to know more. That last revelation of Vivienne's had me almost up in arms wanting answers. After weeks of reading I was hoping for less cliffhanger & more of tied off story. If the story continues in another serial or regularly formatted novel, I will be reading it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Our heroine is the only non-magic wielding mortal in the midst of a deathless, magical circus troupe. With no memory of her past, and no memory of her past and no particular skills, she's unsure why the ringmaster took her on, but when someone starts killing off the circus's stars, she's determined to find some answers - if only she could remember what she's looking for....Kahler unwinds the tangled skein of story with a deft hand. Beware the twist at the end.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Excellent book! Great mixture or paranormal mystery and interesting characters and setting, but with a twist. The paranormal elements are not the usual types of characters, but witches and faeries. Really interesitng plot twists and character motiviations. Highly recommended.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5I read this as a kindle serial and I enjoyed the book in this format. The last "installment" was a bit chaotic/rushed with the effort to provide some conclusions but is worth a read. It was definitely worth the $1.99 price. Will write more when I have the time..
