- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I’m giving this book 5 stars not because it’s the greatest literary accomplishment to date but because for the type of book it is it does it perfectly. So if you’re looking for a book all about fashion New York City and scandal this is it.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Superficial. I would include character development under that rubric; but sadly, the main character is obviously a thinly disguised, purer-than-the driven-snow version of the author. A life so glibly lived is, at best, amusing.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I'd listened to this book thinking it was one of those general fiction books that belonged in another section in the library. It's not a southern novel because it's set in New York, but I could relate to the main character because I lived in both the north and the south; the culture shock she experiences is similar to my own culture shock. I think anyone who has tried to follow their dreams in a new place would love this novel.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5Loved it! Minty and the crew made this a fast and fun read. Hopefully there is a Southern Charm 2 coming soon.
