POSITIVE THINKING

You’ve spent your Christmas money in the sales, you’ve polished off the leftover cheese board, and the Quality Street tin is empty.

Christmas has come to an end, and attention has turned to New Year’s resolutions.

Whilst many of us plan to quit drinking, smoking and spend less money, most of us plot to lose weight over the coming 12 months.

In fact, according to a survey by Inc.com, 71% of us planned to eat healthier in 2019, and 65% of us wanted to exercise more in the year ahead.

But why do so many of us want to lose weight at this time of year every year?

Over half of us want to lose weight in the New Year.
