Burfee

1¼ cups water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cardamom/elachi powder
500g milk powder
175g dessert cream
200g almond powder
20g butter

Mix the dessert cream and milk powder together to resemble crumbs. Allow to dry for 45 to 60 minutes. Sift or pulse in a food processor until it resembles fine crumbs.

Combine the water and sugar. Bring to a boil to form a syrup. Add the butter and the cardamom/elachi and almond powders to the syrup.
