Final push for Class of 2020

FROM this week, Grade 12 pupils will write the National Senior Certificate (NSC) examination with English, Afrikaans and Indian language subjects, including Tamil, Telugu and Gujarati.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the Department of Education postponed the June exams and has combined it with the final exams.

This combined exams makes it the largest public examination that has been administered in the country.

According to the Education Department, 1 058 699 candidates are expected to sit for the exams.
