There was an odd welcoming warmth walking into Sofitel after months of quarantine. One that was dearly missed but has yet to return to its full heat. The lobby still had the same shine but fewer of the people you’d expect walking around with their bags, talking at the concierge, or lounging at Le Bar. But just a level below, that faint warmth goes on full blast with the sounds and chatter of an active kitchen as diners abound the now reopened Spiral buffet. Though only at a limited capacity, the warmth of the renowned buffet back to life emanates through the quiet halls of the hotel.
