Reverend Canon Rosie Harper, 65, is the vicar of Great Missenden Church, Buckinghamshire.

I’ve been a vicar for 21 years, and Christmas – while chaotic – remains my favourite time of year.

On Christmas Eve, I hold three services. The first is a crib service for children that’s completely bonkers – all the kiddies dress in costumes, then there’s a local Christingle service, with more children, oranges and candles.
