As the door swung open, I looked up to the man who had kindly held it for me and had a thunderbolt moment.
‘Thanks,’ I said with a smile, realising just how handsome he was.
It really was love at first sight, and the rest is history. My husband Mark, now 57, and I met when we were both working for the RAF and the connection was instant.
