Scrolling through Nadia Shelbaya’s dreamy Instagram feed provides a perfect insight into her appreciation of female beauty, tactile jewellery designs and an ordered life.

The designer’s gold and silver welded pieces adorned with colourful gemstones and mismatched baroque pearls have been described as ‘sensual and rebellious’, however she would rather categorise them as a celebration of the female form.

“I’m definitely designing for a woman that is very independent, and who is not afraid of using what nature gave her. So, I love that my jewellery is colourful and floaty – they are soft and delicate to the touch. I’m very taken with women, and how to adorn the female body – the ears, the hands, the decollete,” she says, and the imagery featured on her Instagram confirms this.
