DIESEL TUNING 101

There are effectively three ways to ‘tune’ a modern electronically function-managed turbo-diesel engine.

1) Piggy-backing a tunable aftermarket ECU onto the factory one via a dedicated plug-and-play loom.

2) ECU re-flashing/re-mapping

3) Plug and play non tunable chips

Richard Fleming is adamant, they are not in business to cut someone else’s lunch. However he can list a number of key and very valid reasons why he believes the ECU SHOP’s preferred ‘piggy-back ECU’ option is the best.
