Not even our favourite series have been immune from the effects of a global pandemic, with Wentworth just one such program to shut down production in March in order to keep the cast and crew safe.
Of course, the knock-on effect was that the intended June launch date of season eight – the penultimate instalment of the hit Australian drama – was delayed, much to the heartache of fans everywhere.
It’s a perfect example of just how quickly things can change at Wentworth.
