Q. What are the differences between the three types of notes: Camp Notes, Premium Notes, and Factory Notes?
A. These are not unique terms. I think camp notes is the general term. Premium notes were the chits issued in the hardcore concentration camps like Dachau and Auschwitz.
Factory notes were issues from company plants that surrounded the camps. Located in the former Czechoslovakia, near Prague, Metallwerke Holleischen GmbH munitions plant was a slave labor camp. Seventeen scrip notes were issued here ranging in value from 1 rpf to 5 rm.
Ernst Heinrich Heinkel was a German engineer. He designed airplanes and opened the Heinkel-Flugzeugwerke in 1922. In 1933, he was forced to ›re his Jewish designers and other employees.
