WALKING TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH
PATAGONIA is well documented as a top hiking destination, but most of the coverage you’ll see is around Torres del Paine NP and Los Glaciares NP in Chile and Argentina respectively. While these excellent circuits are generally considered to be pretty far south, and they certainly feel like it on a cold night, they are actually only roughly half way between the Equator and the South Pole. There is a whole lot more rugged and less explored territory even further into the high latitudes.
