The key to a great rock song is more often than not its iconic guitar riff. With songs such as “Purple Haze,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and “Seven Nation Army,” not only can you immediately hear the riff in your head, but you can also imagine the iconic rocker behind the tune strumming along. This definitely applies to Aerosmith’s Joe Perry, who’s work on “Walk This Way” earned the song a spot on Rolling Stone’s list of “100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time” alongside the aforementioned rock anthems.
