Bridging the (funding) gap

the South African economy is bearing down on companies, and particularly small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), with liquidations on the rise.

The latest figures from Stats SA show an increase of 10.7% in the number of liquidations in 2019 compared with 2018. Company liquidations increased by 11% and closed corporations by 10.3% over the same period.
