“I’ve always been interested in sewing clothes, but it never really made sense for my life.”
I grew up around sewing, or at least the concept of it. With homemade quilts from one grandma, party dresses from another, and the occasional handmade Halloween costume, sewing always existed in my world as an approachable thing that people do. I made PJ pants in high school home ec., stitched up a couple historical doll outfits for a school project and made one attempt at apparel sewing about six years ago that left me with an ill-fitting dress and not much desire to try again. So, what brought me back? A love for making things, a move to Denver and the perfect kits.
