Barbara Lynn Pedersen is a New York City attorney, but she grew up in Philadelphia. During her family’s frequent visits to that city’s greatest art museum, “I always asked my parents to visit ‘the rooms with the pretty pictures.’ Those were, of course, the Impressionism galleries.”
