Love, From Chicago

Chicago’s Uptown is one of the city’s most distinctly multicultural enclaves, with more than 90 languages that can be overheard at the many Asian grocery markets, taquerias, and Jazz Age musical venues still in operation today. A densely populated 2.3 square-mile section on the northeast side of the city, the neighborhood is bordered by Lake Michigan and her beaches to the east. And smack dab on a leafy block of Wilson Avenue, adding a plant-based flair to the neighborhood’s diverse offerings, is Kal’ish.
