The crackers
Let’s face it, a cheese platter is nothing without the crackers. Bake these easy low-carb crackers and keep them in a tight-sealing container for weeks.
BASIC LOW-CARB CRACKERS
MAKES 14 CRACKERS
KEEP ON TRACK per cracker
FAT 8G CARBS 3G PROTEIN 3G
1½ cups ground almonds/almond flour
1 egg
½ tsp salt
30g butter
1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
2. Pulse the almond flour, egg, salt and butter together in a food processor.
3. Knead the dough lightly on a clean surface until smooth.
4. Roll the dough out between two pieces of baking paper.
