After living in Cape Town for 30 years with respective careers in the catering, construction and home renovation industry, Dee and Daniel Millner decided to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind them in 2016. “Something quieter beckoned,” says Dee.

The option of running their own guesthouse in a platteland town not only suited their career expertise, it was a dream come true. The Millners were clear that they wanted to live on the premises, rather than managing a business from a distance.
