Korean food is having a moment. Specialist restaurants are popping up all over the UK, and you can find Korean-inspired dishes on the menus in Wagamama and even McDonald’s.

Of course, one reason for this is that it’s delicious! But it also gives us a fascinating insight into an ancient and intriguing culture.
