From Easter eggs to hot cross buns, Easter has a whole host of symbolic food traditions. Spring is a time of rebirth and renewal. It’s the time when the lambs are born, and the birds lay their eggs, filling the hedgerows with cheeping fledglings. And as the land throws off the icy grip of winter, it’s not surprising that this has always been cause for celebration – with plenty of feasting along the way!
