Capturing the cosmos

If the images on pages 12–17 of this issue (being the winning and runner-up photos from the 2018 Auckland Astronomical Society Harry Williams Astrophotography Competition) have inspired), which always attracts a first-class range of entrants. On the Aussie side of the ditch, there is the Astronomical Society of NSW’s (ASNSW) Astroimaging Competition, open to members of the Society and anyone else who attends the South Pacific Star Party.
