Most people head to Nieu-Bethesda to feast their eyes on Helen Martins’ famous Owl House, but there’s plenty of reason to also pop in at André du Toit’s house, just a stone’s throw away. He serves freshly baked cakes and croissants and the best coffee in town – only on Sundays and public holidays from 9 am to 2 pm.
