Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and well ironed. Deb used a variety of fabrics designed by French General, many from one of their recent ranges, Atelier De France. The instructions assume that at least three fabrics in the layer cake will be repeated – that is, that there will be two 10in squares of each of them. A seam allowance of 1/4in is used throughout for the patchwork.
