Word is out, Grinders Coffee has reinvented its coffee image in Brisbane, and people are taking notice.

The newly designed café and training centre has found itself in The Courier Mail andWeekend Edition, not to forget BeanScene, and it’s easy to see why locals are paying this venue so much attention.

The 34-seat café with brew bar has become a coffee hub for industry folk and fans, and a modern addition to Logan Road’s already impressive list of coffee residents.

Designers Best of Design has kept architectural references to Grinders’ flagship Melbourne site, evident in the café’s intricate door handles, but the interior takes a different approach: delicate soft pink tones on the 19th century building brickwork, matching floral arrangements, mood-setting industrial abstract lights, eye-pleasing shelving for take-home coffee treats and a white marble benchtop as the centrepiece. What’s most appealing is that there’s no barrier between the barista and consumer.
