Every pet with kidney disease will be unique, so there’s no one approach to support. Some present as the typical older cat with slowly progressing kidney deterioration. Others are younger with congenital disease or acute infection. Many older pets have co-existing health conditions, which also need help, such as cardiac disease, degenerative joint disease, dental disease, high blood pressure and hyperthyroidism.
